Rakesh A.P brings over 30 years of experience in Facility Management and allied industries, with deep expertise in operations, client services, and large-scale business transformation. As Vice President at VR Facilities (VRFS), he leads Operations and Business, empowering client service teams to achieve operational excellence through a focus on human experience, sustainability, productivity, and technology.

His career began in 2006 as a Trainee in DG Commissioning and Operator Maintenance, after completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering. Over the years, he has held leadership roles at industry-leading organizations including Cummins, General Electric, JLL India, and Compass Group.

Since joining VRFS in 2014, Rakesh has been instrumental in driving scalable initiatives, building frameworks that have become standardized and consistent across the region, and positioning VRFS as a trusted partner in facility management.
